•All-med-L: communication of events, funding, IT announcements, etc within the Faculty of Medicine. To add your name to the list, fill out the form here:
•GSA Students-L: updates on events, scholarships or activities of the GSA. Your email provided to the registrar will be automatically added to the list, but if you want to change your account options:
•MSGSA-L: Sent by executives of the medical sciences graduate students association to update grad students in faculty of medicine on MSGSA events, socials, funding, symposia, and volunteer opportunities. The executive gets a new list of grad students each year and adds them to the mailing list, but if you are not receiving MSGSA emails, email firstname.lastname@example.org to be added.
•Department of Neuroscience: This is a crucial list to be on to stay up to date on seminars, defences, course announcements, funding, and department news. To get on this list, contact the neuroscience grad program administrator (Kasia Judycki: email@example.com)
•Hotchkiss Brain Institute: This list details weekly HBI seminars, journal clubs, special symposia, conference announcements, funding, and institute announcements, so it is important to make sure to get on this list also. Contact firstname.lastname@example.org and email@example.com to be added to their mailing list.
If you work with animals, you are REQUIRED to complete the animal care certification course from the Animal Resource Centre (ARC) regardless of whether you have one from another university. The course consists of core lectures and labs, and then a special lecture/lab session for the animal that you will be working with.
